We are currently looking for a professional, motivated Buyer!

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with 3PL’s and help prioritize deliveries
• Collaborate with logistics and operations dept to manage inventory transfer in difference DC’s.
• Manage inventory levels for assigned vendors
• Utilize forecasting tools, historical performance, sales feedback and customer demand to make appropriate and accurate buying decisions
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Exceed established best in class benchmarks and customer expectations
• Maintain supplier score cards, report on quality of service, and make recommendations for improvement
• Identify and implement cost savings opportunities

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience and proven, positive track record as a Senior Buyer
• Experience working with 3PL and freight forwarders.
• Tenacious approach to achieving company goals and customer expectations
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• International purchasing experience is a plus
